ERIE – Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture today announced the recipients of the 2026 Pennsylvania Ag & Youth Grant Program, a statewide initiative supporting youth-centered agricultural education and workforce development.
State Senator Dan Laughlin (R-49) welcomed the announcement and highlighted two projects in Erie County that will receive funding through the program.
“The Ag & Youth Grant Program is an important investment in the next generation of agricultural leaders,” Laughlin said. “These grants support hands-on learning, workforce development, and real-world skills that help prepare young people for future careers while strengthening our local agricultural community.”
Created through the 2019 Pennsylvania Farm Bill, the Ag & Youth Grant Program provides direct and matching grants to eligible organizations for projects focused on agricultural education, leadership development, vocational training, safety programs, field trips, and capital improvements or equipment purchases.
