Senator-elect Laughlin Announces “Office” Telephone Number

As part of his commitment to make access to state services as convenient as possible for his constituents, Senator-elect Dan Laughlin (R-49) announced his new “office” number, while he continues searching for a permanent district office location.

Constituents can call (814) 453-2515 to receive state forms for PACE and the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program; state transportation and fishing maps; and, assistance with PENNDOT, welfare and other state-related matters.

“I am committed to ensuring that my constituents receive the state services they deserve,” Senator-elect Laughlin said. “That means helping people on a case-by-case basis. While I continue to look for the appropriate location for a district office, my constituents will be able to receive help with state issues by calling my office number. My hope is that this will be a very short-term arrangement as we work to provide the best constituent services possible for the people of the 49th District.”

Senator-elect Laughlin said his criteria for his district office are fairly basic — it must be convenient for constituents and it must be reasonably priced.

“I pledged throughout the campaign that I would go to Harrisburg with the mission of ensuring that taxpayers’ dollars are spent reasonably and efficiently,” he said. “That goal starts right here with this district office. I want to have an office up and running as soon as possible, but I am not about to spend extravagantly in the name of haste.”

The 49th Senatorial District includes residents living in the City of Erie; the boroughs of Albion, Cranesville, Girard, Lake City, McKean, North East, Platea and Wesleyville; and, the following townships: Conneaut, Fairview, Franklin, Girard, Greene, Greenfield, Harborcreek, Lawrence Park, McKean, Millcreek, North East, Springfield, Summit and Venango.
