Senator Dan Laughlin issued the following statement on the proposed $32.338 billion General Fund budget for Fiscal Year 2017-18 that Governor Tom Wolf unveiled before a joint session of the General Assembly on Tuesday.
“I was glad to hear he wasn’t starting out with just big tax increases, but really my concern for my (Senate) district has been school district funding. I didn’t really hear anything in his budget about that, so I am a little bit concerned about that.”
